Researchers from the Hospitals Case Medical center in Cleveland extracted polyphenols from green tea and mixed in into a solution. The mixture was then sprayed on the skin of ten volunteers before being exposed to ultraviolet light. The study found that the skin sprayed with tea resisted cancer related damage. the tea appears to boost the skins in-built immune system.
